Without even taking a step into the Playboy Mansion, everyone have a pretty good idea of what’s going on in there. You guessed it right, people are… gaming! Of course. After all, is it not the palace of pleasures? Hugh Hefner, founder of the Playboy magazine, definitely have a soft spot for classic gaming. As a fact, he built a guesthouse next to his “every-man-dream” mansion to accommodate his closest friends. In it, you can find a nice gaming room filled with classic arcades. Here’s what you can see in it.
To begin the tour, take a look at this great wall.
We have a Police 911-2 machine, a Playboy Slot machine, the Playboy Pinball from Data East, the Space Invaders Pinball and the Playboy Pinball from Bally. You can also see a glimpse of the foosball table as well as the pool table. Oh! Don’t forget the bubble gum machine on the right!
On a less crowded space we can find a TV (probably for some sort of paid programs…), the classic Pacman cabinet and the Hydro Thunder seater.
Another view shows a piano, a mysterious cab and some decorations.
On a more interesting angle, we get great classic arcade cabinets. From left to right: Missile Command, Frogger, Centipede, Donkey Kong and Defender. Hefner knows his classics for sure!
Huh… Do I need to explain the next one? Yes, it’s adjacent to the gameroom. Simple and… useful. I guess. Let’s examine this a little closer. Double bed? Checked. Mirror wall? Checked. Kleenex? Checked. You get the picture? The perfect room to take a break from gaming (or is it the opposite?)
And now for your ultimate pleasure, a little more crowded picture (yes my friend, we’re that good at TBG!).
What more can you ask for? Surrounded by bunny girls while gaming is the cherry on the cake! OK, this shot was taken in the mansion itself, not in the guesthouse… but who cares!?
